Polka Dot Mania!

No your eyes are not playing tricks on you...my pants have teeny tiny polka dots on them. I figured I'd go all out today with my love of dots! Dots and peplum...two of my favs. I sure hope they don't end up on the "out" list anytime soon. Well, peplum might, but I think that stripes and polka dots are two patterns that are ALWAYS in! LOVE love love! Here are some additional ensemble photos! I have been a little challenged with getting dressed and thus adding my posts here bc we've had our pipes replaced in our condo recently. A part of the prep for that was removing almost EVERYTHING from my closet. Since we have basically the guest room and the living room to stack all of the items from our kitchen, bathrooms, and various closets, I've been having a hard time climbing over piles of various stacked boxes and garments. This tells me two things...1. I have entirely too many clothes and 2. THANK GOODNESS for a nice size walk in closet for perusing and outfit planning! Whew! I hang pretty much everything except for PJs, workout clothes and jeans, so to have everything hanging and organized, making it SO much easier to plan and visualize. They are done with the work, so this weekend I am putting it all back together and working on some major purging as well!! Wish me luck! :-)

Fav Shoes?!?

So I realized that I've been wearing my silver, Nine West gladiators a lot lately. Not sure why (they are like 2 years old at least!), but I'm loving them! They are kinda fancier that other flats I have and seem to go well from day to night to work and so on... Friday night was a concert, Saturday was a bridal shower and late lunch with the hubs, and then I've got work outfits from yesterday and today. I didn't capture Sunday- not sure why. Totally forgot! We went to brunch and then spent most of the day getting stuff done at home. My brunch outfit was cute though! I will post a redo soon of that one. Here goes...

What Is That... Velvet?!?!

So...read that title in a husky/raspy, masculine voice with a NY (specifically Queens) accent! Name that movie line!!!! It's from one of my (thank to the hubs) FAV movies of all times...anyone anyone?! It's from "Coming to America". That part where they go to the barbershop in their very not NYC looking, royal attire and realize they need to assimilate a little more. When I wear this shirt I swear it photographs with a velvety look. It's NOT velvet, I promise. It's like a smooth, shiny (probably synthetic and not found in nature:-( ) fabric of some sort.
