I Heart Animal Print!

Versions of animal prints are always in so it's pretty safe to add it to your wardrobe when you find a good piece. I've never been one to be attracted to main pieces of clothing with a cheetah or zebra print, but shoes and accessories...yes please!!! I also never really seek it out. I can easily admire these prints on others, but have a harder time naturally adding them to my closet. For example, this jacket was purchased because I loved the fit and needed a cute black blazer (because, see..I only had about 4 at the time ;-)). The inside printed liner was a fun bonus. Plus, if I didn't feel up for it on any given day, I could hide the lining by buttoning the front and wearing the sleeves unrolled. For today's ensemble, I was a little worried that my jacket liner and shoes might clash since they are a similar version of some sort of animal print, but the not same. Shoes are most certainly cheetah, but sleeves are more...spotted leopard?! Dunno..I'll have to consult the catalog of large, wild cats stored in my brain to be sure. However, since they are not right up next to one another and compliment one another in the color category, I think it works. Animal print is also a fun way to jazz up an otherwise not very noteworthy outfit. I love the dress I'm wearing due to the ruffle detail (which you can't really see very well in the pic) but I feel that the animal print makes it a little more fun than a redd-ish dress and black blazer. I'm currently looking to add a fun animal print scarf and some cheetah print flats for fall. Where do you plan to add in animal print??
